Cluj Community Foundation rewarded excellence in community involvement at its Don'Or Awards Gala, which took place on Thursday, April 15, at City Plaza Hotel. Animated by the music of Darius Brubeck and his students from the Music Academy of Cluj, and featuring a fashion show brought on stage by the German designer JuttaS, the Gala pushed Cluj Community Foundation well beyond its target to mobilize EUR 5,000 for 10 scholarships.
The amount was raised during the evening's auction with pearl jewelry sets, beauty session vouchers, and a JuttaS custom-made dress on sale.
With the 2010 edition of its Don'Or Awards Gala, Cluj Community Foundation consolidated the Scholarship Fund with EUR 5,400. Until now, the Foundation has offered 25 scholarships from this fund that was started and is supported by an individual donor, Mr. Fred C. Robey.
